I'm not a huge fan of the "posterizing" slam dunk. I'm not a fan of players who just get by on dunking. It shows remarkable athleticism, but it's not the kind of thing that you can rely on to get you a championship at any level.

I'm not a huge fan of Dwight Howard for this reason. And while I find it fun to watch, I haven't believed that until Blake Griffin got some legitimate post moves or a jump shot, that the Clippers were real contenders in the West.

But this play last night? It was an emphatic slam that even I had to enjoy. And I also enjoyed the legitimate basketball play that it came attached to. Griffin set a great screen and executed a perfect pick-and-roll with Chris Paul. CP3, as usual, delivered a great pass to Griffin, who beat the slow San Antonio backside defender.

Now Blake, THAT, was fun to watch.
