Buster Olney – “Pump The Breaks” On This Yankees Prospect [AUDIO]

Every Thursday ESPN Baseball insider Buster Olney Joins Levack and Goz to break down the biggest stories in Yankees, Mets and all of baseball. With the Yankees hosting the Red Sox and CC Sabathia pitching a masterpiece the night before Buster had to prescribe Baseball Prozac for Levack(me). Mainly because just 24 hours before the glowing love I had for the Yankees I was ready to pay for the Uber to get Chase Headley, Chris Carter and Masahiro Tanaka out of town.

There's been tremendous buzz for Yankees prospects infielder Gleyber Torres and pitcher Chance Adams but Buster has a warning about Chance Adams. Basically "pump the breaks" the young man is not ready yet. So you may be asking yourself, like I was "what about Tanaka?" Well Buster thinks there's a chance he'll shut it down and get his elbow fixed if he doesn't turn it around soon. So who takes his spot if Adams isn't ready? That answer could come at the Trade Deadline.
