The Capital Region Football Hall of Fame will induct its next class this Saturday night. One of the headlining names is Paul Layton who was a standout quarterback at Burnt Hills before is days as one of the best punters in the country while at UAlbany and Temple.

Layton, who now lives in Denver working as a financial planner, joined Big Board Sports to talk about his upcoming induction and to reflect back on his hall of fame career. Former Watervliet and Cortland star Tony Fruscio did the same with Rodger and Chris. Layton and Fruscio are two of thirteen players to be inducted as part of the 2019 class.

It's a group of 22 players, coaches, officials and media members who are now among the greatest to ever be part of the football in the Capital Region.
