Chad Brown had a banner day yesterday. He had 5 horses run and he got 5 victories and now leads the trainer title standings. He also Miles D getting ready for the Travers Stakes this weekend. Hear Chad above!

Former Yankees manager Buck Showalter said managers are just like player, they can go on hot streak and cold streaks. Buck is not wrong. The Yanks are riding an 11 game winning streak and just about every decision Aaron Boone makes turns out to be the right decision. Perfect example was Tuesday when he pulled ace closer Aroldis Chapman with the bases loaded, and he brings in Wandy Peralta with the bases loaded and two outs. No problem. Peralta gets Freddie Freeman to fly out to end the game. Right now the Yankees and Boone can do no wrong.

The RPI men’s hockey team might be the only team in the country without fans, they will most likely be the only team in the ECAC that won’t allow even vaccinated fans into games this season. It’s a ridiculous decision and another blow to a program that head coach Dave Smith has done a tremendous job rebuilding. Can’t imagine what the season ticket holders must be thinking? RPI President Dr. Shirley Jackson is the one making all the decisions, but she clearly is not paying attention to how athletic programs around the rest of the country are operating. Let’s hope the students show up, otherwise it will be a season with no atmosphere at the Houston Field House, for no good reason.
