Charges Dismissed Against Greg Hardy

Defensive End for the Carolina Panthers Greg Hardy is a free man. Charges of Domestic violence have been dropped after Hardy's accuser ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder was unavailable to testify.

Prosecutors said they believe that Holder and Hardy had reached a civil settlement and Holder "intentionally made herself unavailable to the State." This STINKS to me. Hardy was found guilty before and now that Holder has been paid he will walk. Good for her getting something out of this but all this says to me is Hardy has been shown if you have enough cash you're untouchable.

It will be very interesting to see how the NFL handles this case. Hardy has been on the Commissioner's exempt list while waiting for the outcome of his trial. Will Goodell punish Hardy without a guilty verdict? Only time will tell.
