While the reason that the Orioles and White Sox played in front of no fans is incredibly serious, it was unique to see the way the players handled it. The players had some fun with it.

Caleb Joseph (above) signed pretend autographs for the fans on the way to the bullpen. In unseen footage, he also took a bow in centerfield and waved to fans as he went out.

Chris Davis (2nd vine) also had some fun, continuing the tradition of throwing the final out of the inning into the crowd.

For an extremely serious situation, at least some smiles could come out of it.
