Upstate NY-Based Musician to Appear on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ with Band
Band members will masquerade as family members on an upcoming episode of Celebrity Family Feud.
The hit game show, which pits two celebrity-laden teams against one another and asks them to answer open-ended questions for points, is set to feature the band members of Daughtry and Papa Roach on an upcoming episode of the show.
The two bands will compete against one another to raise money for charity.
Daughtry keyboardist Elvio Fernandes recently confirmed his band's appearance on the show on his Instagram page. For those that do not know, Fernandes is a Rochester resident, and according to New York Upstate, is a graduate of nearby Gates Chili High School.
Fernandes joined Daughtry in 2011, and during his tenure with the band, has filled roles including keyboards, piano, occasional rhythm and acoustic guitar and backing vocals. Fernandes took over the keyboard from Joey Barnes, who was with the band from 2006 to 2010.
Fernandes is also the founder of ROC Star Academy, an East Rochester-based music studio that, according to its website, was built to nurture young peoples' love of music and their ability to perform at the highest levels through coaching by our seasoned staff of professional musicians and educators
