David Ortiz was recently asked if he believed Ted Williams hit a home run to the Red seat. This was a 502-foot home run Williams hit on June 9, 1946.

I am a known and proud Red Sox hater but I have nothing but respect and admiration for Ted Williams. Williams was a once in a lifetime talent and a patriot. So when David Ortiz questioned Williams in an interview with The Boston Globe I got pissed!

When asked about the famous Red Seat Home Run Ortiz said “The red seat? Cough - bull - cough.” While talking to the Globes Alex Speier the DH linked to PED use in the past continued “I don’t think anyone has ever hit one there,” Ortiz told the Globe. “I went up there and sat there one time. That’s far, brother. Listen, do you see the No. 1 (Bobby Doerr’s retired uniform number on the facade above the right field grandstand)? I hit that one time. You know how far it is to that No. 1 from the plate? Very far. And you know how far that red seat is from the No. 1? It’s 25 rows up still. That’s the farthest I’ve ever hit the ball right there, and no one else has gotten to the No. 1. … The closest one that I have ever seen - I remember a day game, I hit a ball in that tunnel. But still - I crushed one and it wasn’t even close to that.”

You arrogant jerk! You aren't HALF the player Williams was! You never hit more than 20 home runs in a season until you shared a dugout with known PED user Manny Ramirez. So forgive me but someone needs to tell this over blown jerk to shut his mouth!
