The Yankees have cleared future Hall of Famer Derek Jeter for rehab games in the minor leagues.  He will play his first on Saturday, July 6 in Scranton against Lehigh Valley.

Jeter is expected to play at least five innings.  The Yanks captain will have 20 days to complete his rehab.  The team doesn't have an exact date for his return, but it will be sometime after the All-Star break.

Jeter is making his way back from a fractured ankle injury.
