Derrick Rowland is known as "Mr. Albany Patroon" and it was a shock to me to hear that he was leaving the team to go coach in Oklahoma (The Potawatomi Fire). The team is in the same league as the Patroons and as he explains above, the opportunity was too good to pass up. Rowland will stay involved with things in Albany and is even helping the Patroons find his replacement. But he compared the divorce to that of Tom Brady and New England and it was very well done. Make sure to listen to the interview above!

Too little and much too late for Noah Syndergaard when he made his long awaited Mets return.  Syndergaard who underwent Tommy John surgery was supposed to be back in June which would have been perfect. Instead more eblow issues kept him out until Tuesday against the Miami Marlins, and by that time the season was over. When the Mets lost ace pitcher Jacob deGrom at the All Star break, their season went on a steady decline, and Syndergaard was nowhere near ready to make his return. If deGrom and Syndergaard are healthy the Mets will have a strong top of the order rotation in 2022, and maybe the Mets will make a push for Max Scherzer. Owner Steve Cohen has the money, but as the Mets found out this season, it’s not all about having the most money to spend. It was another season, that ended like many others in the past have for the Mets, without a trip to the postseason.
