Do People Really Care about the Royal Wedding?

Everyday I read the top news in the world to be well informed about topics for the show. Yes I find my self reading more then sports - you have to keep yourself well rounded in this business. The hottest topic in the world right now is a dude with bad teeth marrying a chick way out of his league, here are my thoughts.

I see it everyday in my news feeds every day “Prince William’s Wedding is all set to go”, “Prince Charles is Going to Hang Out with William the Night before the Wedding”, “Prince Harry Arrested fro trying to bring a Cross-dressing Prostitute to the rehearsal Dinner”. Well ok I made the last one up, but it’s what you’re seeing everyday.

So I ask, as American’s “Do we Care?”.  I don’t, my friends don’t, even my mom is more tied up with her manager at work dating the girl from the pharmacy then she is in the Royal Wedding.  I haven’t met a single person who could give 2 s**ts about these Red Coats and there crappy 5 million dollar wedding.

First off, it’s pointless. These people have no real power anymore; they make no decisions and have no say in the day to day running of the country. They are like the spokes person of the English Government. They are like the Geico Caveman of the royal world.

Didn’t we fight not one but two wars with these people to have them leave us alone.  First they try taxation with out representation, and now they are beating us to death with the nine iron they call the “Royal Wedding”. (Beating to death with a golf club, hold on they aren’t Kennedys) Do we need to send Mel Gibson over there; we all know how much he loves kicking the crap out of the English.

What the hell? Isn’t this supposed to be the biggest story of the next half century? Isn’t this bigger in England then the Snuggie is here in America? They can’t afford a better website then an Upstate New York sports station. (A website that was built by the lowest bidder mind you) You would think something this special and means this much to your country would have at least as good of a website as Fergi’s.

Long Story Short I’m Pretty sure as Americans we care more about the consistency of Donald Trumps Bowl Movements then we do about some Royal Wedding.  So if you work in the wedding business stop shilling your garbage over here. I’ll call Mike Eruzione to go America all over your asses.
