If Carmelo Anthony wants to win an NBA championship before he retires, he needs to waive his no trade clause and let the New York Knicks work out a deal with another team. It’s clear that Knicks president Phil Jackson and Melo are not on the same page about Anthony’s value to the team. One problem: Anthony doesn’t want to leave New York. But if Knicks can iron out a deal, with let’s say Cleveland and LeBron James, why would you want to say with a team that is no where close to winning a championship, and is also poorly run?
