The Yankees have hit a hot streak as their starting pitching has really excelled lately. From Michael Pineda taking a perfect game into the 7th inning to the impressive MLB debut of Jordan Montgomery to Luis Severino showing signs of a resurrection to his promising talent, New York has been able to make up for injuries and illness that has affected the lineup. The starting pitching of this team was always the biggest question mark for me coming into the 2017 season. After Masahiro Tanaka, it feels like a roll of the dice. But it has been Tanaka who has come up snake eyes so far this year with 2 starts falling very short of expectations coming out spring training.

This is an offense that should produce runs; even with Gary Sanchez injured. Chase Headley has been the biggest surprise since Opening Day and Aaron Judge has homered in 3 of the last 4 games, proving the decision to put him in the starting lineup everyday in the majors and not in the minors, correct.
