What's the newest ESPN 30 for 30 film? Sports fans will get a chance to watch the newest edition to the series following the presentation of this year' Heisman Memorial Trophy. On December 10th ESPN will debut Catholics vs Convicts, a film focusing on the past  college football rivalry between Miami and Notre Dame. The newest ESPN film presentation focuses on the 1988 match up between the teams when both entered the contest undefeated and regarded as the premier college football programs in the country. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish at that time were coached by Lou Holtz while the Hurricanes were led on the sideline by Jimmy Johnson. Earlier this season, both programs rekindled their rivalry with a contest between two the new schools in late October. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish came away with a 30-27 victory and later went on to be crowned that season's national champions. Included on that roster is now Albany, NY resident and former NFL player Derek Brown. Catholics vs Convicts premieres on ESPN Saturday December 10th following the Heisman Trophy presentation. Below is a trailer for the upcoming film.
