We Follow the Pack every week on Big Board Sports and this week we talked to a National Lacrosse League veteran. His name is Anthony Malcom, he also goes by Tony, and he has played in the NLL since 2015. In the above interview he details what made him get into the game and why the NLL is so exciting. But even more importantly, he talks about how good this FireWolves team can be. He has played for coach Glenn Clarke before and details the type of coach he is. Malcom is a skilled player that lead his team with 95 loose balls in the shortened season. Malcom is also very excited about being in Albany long-term and has heard about the fans and made it clear that NLL games are an awesome experience for the spectators. He also thinks they can win a championship which seems to be the standard for teams that play at the TU Center.

The Mets will not make the playoffs, which is a major disappointment in Owner Steve Cohen’s first year and manager Louis Rojas will be the fall guy when the regular season ends. The Mets fell apart after the All Star break, and even with the addition of Javier Baez at the trading deadline the Mets couldn’t overcome the loss of ace pitcher Jacob deGrom. The Mets ended up being the same old Mets, with their future very much up in the air. Cohen needs to start the off-season by hiring Theo Epstein as his Director of Operations, and begin the profess of fazing out Sandy Anderson.
