Former 104.5 The Team Host Inducted into Scotia HOF
Never has someone been so proud to call Scotia their hometown. Zach Bye has praised the place that shaped him for as long as he's been alive and to anyone who will listen. The two-time Foothills champion on the basketball court and then captain under head Brian Beaury at Saint Rose spilled all that pride over the Capital Region airwaves as a talk show host and as a play by play and color commentator for UAlbany games.
The now-Denver sports talk co-host with former NFL wide receiver Brandon Stokley, the pride of Scotia lives on. Bye has even found a way to get Stokley, a Super Bowl champion, to wear the Tartans jersey. It is for his on-court and broadcasting career accomplishments that Zach Bye is now a Scotia-Glenville Athletics Hall of Famer. Perhaps no one has earned that moniker more than Zach and certainly no one will appreciate it more.
Now, a husband and a father, it is with a different beam of pride which Zach shows for this recognition and any that is associated with his Capital Region roots.
