Former Tri-City ValleyCat Joe Musgrove is currently having success with the Houston Astros since his major league call-up last week. Musgrove has thrown 11.1 innings in Houston, pitching to a 0.79 ERA. He also has 14 strikeouts vs. just one walk.

Brady Farkas and Zach Bye caught up with the hurler on Wednesday's edition of 'Big Board Sports' to talk about his success in Houston, what it was like striking out reigning AL MVP Josh Donaldson, how good Jose Altuve is, and what his time in Tri-City meant for the development of his career.

Musgrove talked glowingly of his experience with the 'Cats, where he went 7-1 in 2014. He talked about being named to the 15th Anniversary team for the 'Cats and talked about how well the fans treated the players and the organization.

Musgrove is a great pitcher in the making. He throws a ton of strikes with multiple pitches and can keep hitters off balance.
