Last night, Major League Baseball had their first no-hitter performance of the season and the league's 300th overall in history as Oakland pitcher Mike Fiers threw his second no hitter of his career. Fiers played for two seasons for the Saratoga Phillies when they were a member of the NYCBL in 2007 and 2008.

Fiers has been in the news in the past few years for more about his antics towards current New York Yankee Giancarlo Stanton. The rivalry dates back to 2014, when Fiers hit Stanton in the face with a fastball eventually ending the slugger's season. This is what Stanton told MLB.com in June of last year

I'm not trying to stir this up, that just is what it is, obviously,Anything like that that happens, no matter how many years it is, I'm not going to be happy. I'm not going to just walk to first and be OK, but it is what it is.

Do you find yourself rooting for Mike Fiers because of his past Capital Region connections? Or do you root against Fiers' success because of the Stanton rivalry? Let us know below.
