This past Wednesday on Levack and Goz, the guys were joined by former Syracuse basketball standout Eric Devendorf. While many college basketball fans may remember Devendorf for his "bad boy" persona on the court, or his memorable shot from the Big East tournament, the former Orange star is making headlines for his work off the hardwood. Inspired by the work of Barstool president Dave Portnoy's Barstool Fund, Devendorf established a similar fund to help local businesses in the Central New York area. Earlier this week, Devendorf announced on Twitter some of the businesses that were receiving funds because of the fund.

At the :28 mark of the video, Devendorf mentioned the "Solvay Geddes Community Center". As a Solvay native, I wanted to personally thank Eric for all the help he has been able to offer businesses from my hometown. Devendorf discussed his efforts, his thoughts on UAlbany's Will Amica and Syracuse's Joseph Girard III and his new podcast. Enjoy my favorite part of the podcast series which includes a story from former orange player Paul Harris.
