Giants Won’t Be Playing Carson Wentz Twice A Year Anymore
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Philadelphia Eagles have traded Quarterback Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts. Even though the 2nd pick of the 2016 NFL draft had fell on some hard times, New York Giants fans should be pretty happy he's gone.
This is actually pretty good news for the New York Giants. Wentz had really good stats against Big Blue. Wentz's career record against the Gants was 7-2 with a 62.2 completions percentage, 2,387 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. Jalen Hurts will have to really step his game up to reach those levels against the Giants.
Now we watch to see if Colts head coach Frank Riech can get Carson Wentz back to the QB he was when Reich was his Offensive Coordinator with the Eagles? We haven't even reached the NFL Combine yet and this offseason is already one of the wildest I can remember.
