The Buffalo Bills Trade For Another QB, Tarvaris Jackson
Seems the Buffalo Bills have become the Seattle Seahawks of the east, ironic since the Bills and Hawks just reached a deal for, you guessed it, a quarterback.
Last year Seattle signed Tarvaris Jackson as free agent. Now he is on his third team in three years, aquired by the Bills who now have five, yes five, QBs.
In exchange for Jackson, who became expendable when the Hawks drafted Russell Wilson and then signed Matt Flynn, the Seahawks received an undisclosed draft pick.
The Bills now have Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starter. They also have Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen whom they signed as free agents. Young struggled in Saturday's loss to Pittsburgh. Buffalo also has Brad Smith who played QB with the Missouri Tigers and played some wildcat and a few other formations for the NY Jets before signing with Buffalo as a free agent last year.
If you believe Bills coach Chan Gailey, two will either be cut or Gailey says he will carry two QBs plus Smith who can be used in many positions. This could mean Young's career will be short lived with the Bills and Thigpen well he isn't any good anyhow.
