Goz’s College Football Top 25 (Week 9)
For the second consecutive season I’ll be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college football season. My poll philosophy all season long has been ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty five best in the country following that given week’s games. 11) Virginia Tech
12) Oklahoma
13) Oklahoma State
14) Washington State
15) Central Florida

Penn State jumps Georgia at #2-Coach James Franklin's squad was impressive in a 42-13 victory over Michigian in front of a wild crowd at Happy Valley. The Big 10 favorites now look to be on pace to get to the college football playoff thanks to large part to their running back SaQuon Barkley.
Miami deserves to be in the Top 10, I'll eat some humble pie-I felt confident my Orange could pull off the upset against the Hurricanes on the road. Yes, Miami benefited from Syracuse becoming the first team in all of FBS to throw 4 interceptions in one half but still a win is a win. It will be fun to see the Notre Dame vs Miami matchup and the playoff implications involved with the game in November.
Some big games but not big movement- Maybe I should offer an apologize with the lack of movement in this week's poll? The college football slate is fantastic but poll wise there truly was not a ton of shake up. Michigan and USC fell but they fell to almost the spots where Notre Dame and Michigan State were previous. South Florida almost loss to Tulane but still were able to hang on to that victory and stay ranked. Even the bottom of the 25 stayed relatively the same with teams holding steady.
