It was quite an impressive weekend for Guilderland's Mike "Babyface" Faragon.

On Friday night, the lightweight professional boxer fought on national television for the first time in his career.  And the 24-year old didn't disappoint the ESPN2 audience.

Faragon defeated Ira Terry (24-6, 14 KOs) as the referee stopped the fight at 2:32 of the second round.   The bout took place at Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California.  Faragon is now 16-0 with 7 TKO's.

This nationally televised fight put "Baby Face" in the spotlight.  Faragon is next scheduled to fight on Showtime on Friday, September 30th.

Faragon is a 3-time New York Golden Gloves champion.  He was the #1 ranked amateur in the United States at 141 lbs back in 2007.
