RPI's ECAC quarterfinal series, which was set to be played at the Houston Field House in front of no fans this weekend, will not feature the Engineers' scheduled opponent. Harvard is forfeiting the rest of its season over concerns related to Coronavirus and therefore won't be traveling to Troy. The school tweeted the news as well.

Yale has also dropped out of the ECAC Tournament and so with some shifting to the field, RPI will now host Colgate.

Harvard has closed its campus in the last few days and as recently as Tuesday, the Ivy League announced it was canceling the men's and women's basketball conference tournaments.

On Sunday, RPI announced it was enacting "social distance protocols" which would restrict gatherings to fifty people or fewer. The decision to play the scheduled hockey games without fans followed the school's decision.
