The Mets season will not begin for a while as we all know due to the coronavirus but it is still fun to talk about a little baseball here however maybe not under these circumstances for Mets fans. Tim Healey, Mets beat writer for Newsday, joined Big Board Sports to give the teams game plan now that one of their better starting pitchers, Noah Syndergaard, is out for the season.

Why can Syndergaard have the surgery during the current halt on "non-essential" procedures? Will Brodie Van Wagenen start to really get some heat for trading SP prospects like Justin Dunn and Anthony Kay with Stroman (who was acquired from the Kay deal) and Syndergaard both free agents in the next 2 seasons (Stroman after this year and Syndergaard after 2021)? Also how will the Mets navigate the tough NL East now?

Make sure to listen above as well as to Big Board Sports every weekday from 10 AM to 1 PM!
