The UAlbany Great Danes lacrosse program has continued to be one of the best in teh country the past decade. After a Final Four berth in 2018, the Great Danes fell below expectations in 2019. That lack of success may have cost the Great Danes a Top 20 spot in the recently released US Lacrosse magazine preseason poll
