Bills Mafia Invasion: How Many Fans Are Headed To Miami?
They’re three things we know about Buffalo Bills fans: They’re loyal. They’re resilient. And they travel well.
There’s been many instances at away games (most recently in Los Angeles) where the roar of Bills Mafia seemed louder than the cheers of the home crowd.
Earlier this season, I traveled to the DC area for the Bills game against the Commanders, and I can genuinely say that it felt like a home game away from home. Fans decked out in blue and red were the first ones in the parking lot to tailgate and the loudest inside the stadium, singing the “Shout” song at the top of their lungs after every score.
It sure felt like there were more Bills fans at that game than there were Commanders fans, and fellow members of Bills Mafia who traveled there seemed to agree. Could we be seeing a similar turnout this weekend against Miami?
Buffalo Bills Fans To Make Up "More Than Half" Of Attendance This Sunday
In spite of the game time only being announced less than a week ago, Bills Mafia is heading down to Miami in droves for Sunday’s game.
According to WKBW reporter Jeff Russo, 52% of the fans in attendance this Sunday will be decked out in Bills gear.
He clarified in a reply that the data showing how many Bills fans would be there was given to the TV station by ticket-selling site Vivid Seats.
Considering Hard Rock Stadium holds over 65,000 people at full capacity, that’s tens of thousands of Bills Mafia members repping Buffalo! And that doesn’t even count the people that will be chanting “Hey-ey-ey-ey!” in Miami bars and in the tailgate lots.
Of course Bills fans are coming out by the thousands for this game, the winner of which will clinch the top seed in the AFC East and get a home playoff game. If it means getting to escape this Western New York winter for a couple of days while watching the Bills “squish the fish” - we’re in!
