He has never played football before and is now with the Buffalo Bills.

How does something like that even happen?

It is part of the NFL International Pathway Program and it brings players in that go through a program to learn the game, even if they have never played before. There is no guarantee that the player will end up making the final Buffalo Bills roster.

The point of the program is to get elite athletes to come to America to play America Football. In turn, grow and spread awareness of the game to other countries. The NFL will assign divisions with teams to draft International Players. The program was mandatory starting in 2017.

Who is he?

The Bills drafted Travis Clayton from southern England in the 7th round of the NFL draft over the weekend. He is a boxer and a rugby player who will try and play linebacker for the Buffalo Bills.

“I love the physical side of things, being an offensive lineman, being able to take your anger out on people legally is great, and I can just use my strength and my abilities," Clayton said according to WGRZ.
