Baseball Fans Won’t Want To Miss Wade Boggs In Latham

Baseball fans, here is your chance to meet Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs in Latham, New York. The Center for Disability Services will host the 32nd Annual 'An Aficionado Experience', presented by Northwestern Mutual - Capital Region, featuring an appearance by Wade Boggs.

Wade Boggs played for the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over an 18 season career that included 12 All Star appearances, 2 gold glove awards, 8 Silver Slugger Awards and 1 World Series Championship in 1996. Now you have the chance to meet him.

On Thursday June 4th the Center for Disability Services will host the 32nd Annual An Aficionado Experience, presented by Northwestern Mutual - Capital Region, at Forts Ferry Farm in Latham, NY. As part of the festivities you will have the chance to meet Hall of Fame third baseman Wade Boggs. Tickets on sale HERE.

This event will be held rain or shine, and the entire area is fully tented. On-site parking available and you must be 21 or older to attend. Business attire is encouraged. Here's what else you can expect:

• Autographs - Baseballs will be available for purchase if you’d like to get an autograph from Wade Boggs
• Food & Beverage will be available at a variety of food stations
• Live music and dancing to Ten Most Wanted
• An online silent auction

Coming soon a silent auction featuring local gift certificates and experiences, art, horseracing memorabilia, sports memorabilia, jewelry and more! Once bidding opens, it will remain open until 9:30pm on June 4. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit the Center for Disability Services.
