See Latest Upstate NY Snowfall Predictions For Tonight’s Storm
Winter 2023 is going out like a lion this year.
And after a few more inches of snow earlier this week, we have another winter weather event brewing this weekend that could turn out to be the biggest snowfall of the year for many parts of Upstate New York.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for most of the region from Friday (March 3rd) evening through Saturday (March 4th) evening. While some precipitation could start earlier in the afternoon Friday in some areas, the snow will really get going right around 6 pm in most of the greater Albany area. That snow will continue through Saturday morning, with many areas shifting back to a wintry mix mid to late morning. When this one is all said and done, some areas could see more than a foot of snow.
Here is what different areas of the Capital Region and Upstate New York can expect as far as snowfall from this storm.
