This matchup against the 1-4 seemed like the most likely scenario for the Giants to finally get in the win column. The franchise is 0-6 for the first time since 1976.

The good news is the the G-Men have to lose three in a row in order to tie the franchise record as the team went 0-9 during that '76 season.

The bad news is that rookie Michael Cox will be at the top of the depth chart. Last year's 7th round draft pick, obviously, should not be in this situation. It's scary. Oh, but don't worry because then there's this ...

Splitting the carries with Cox is former Browns bada** Peyton Hillis who was relevant back in 2011. Hillis hasn't played in the NFL this season and hasn't been 100% healthy in two years.

With their backs against the wall (putting it lightly), the Giants rushing game is going in with Cox and Hillis.

Pace yourself, Giants Nation.

Monday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:40p EST.
