Will The New York Giants Land QB Matthew Stafford?

The New York Giants and Matthew Stafford are now being heavily linked with potential trade rumors swirling with him and the Los Angeles Rams. I love the idea of the Gmen signing a veteran quarterback because both Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll need to win and win now. They still should draft a quarterback number three overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:

If quarterback Matthew Stafford becomes available, the Giants should go hard after him. The Giants have to draft a quarterback regardless, but they also need to win games and that's why Stafford makes perfect sense. Head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen are on the hot seat before next season even begins and without a guy like Stafford under center the Giants have no shot to have a winning season. The biggest question is whether Stanford is going to be available and would he want to play for the Giants. I will have to believe if he gets the right offer to stay in Los Angeles on a much better team then that's what he would do but it's always about the money. Let's see how it plays out but Stafford on the Giants is a game changer for Big Blue.
