The New York Giants signed Jameis Winston on a two year $8 million deal this past Friday and it is a great move on paper.  However, Winston is serviceable and is paid to be a backup so the Giants need to still stay aggressive when searching for a Quarterback here.  They should still heavily pursue Russell Wilson and need to also draft a QB with the third overall pick, either Sanders or Ward.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
Giant's fans should hope Jameis Winston is the backup quarterback when the season begins. Giants cannot win with Winston who throws way too many interceptions. Giants aren't paying Winston starting quarterback money so there is still a chance they land Russell Wilson and he's a much better option. It all depends on Aaron Rodgers who mulling over an offer from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

So now Tommy DeVito is not the only quarterback on their roster.  Aaron Rodgers is unfortunately still deciding what he wants to do regarding his future in the NFL.  Teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers should enforce a deadline and make him decide sooner rather than later.  People need to stop catering to him and giving him all the power.  You would hope he decides before the NFL Draft begins on Thursday April 24th.  I hope the Giants get it right at quarterback because the last six years have not worked as Daniel Jones was a huge miss by the Giants front office and organization as a whole.
