Tuesday night was a pretty impressive sports night. 49-year-old pitcher Jamie Moyer proved that he still had it, and the Knicks proved that when their shooting is on, it's on.

It was stunning news when Jamie Moyer earned a spot in the Colorado Rockies starting rotation.  It's not everyday that a 49-year-old can keep going in the majors, but Moyer has proven that he's not done yet.   Tuesday night he set the record, being the oldest pitcher to win a game in the MLB.  Moyer went 7 scoreless innings for the Rockies, and they went on to beat the Padres 5-3.

The Knicks were also impressive on Tuesday night.  They are making a big push heading into the end of the season.  The beat the division-leading Celtics 118-110, and tied an NBA record for the most threes in a half with 14.  They made 19 all together, 8 of them coming from Steve Novak.
