Jets’ Backfield Could Be Most Versatile In NFL
The first year of the New York Jets under Head Coach Adam Gase will have way more talent and options on offense then Gang Green has had in some time. QB Sam Darnold is entering his second season and the Jets added both Le'Veon Bell and Ty Montgomery to their backfield.
Bell was arguably the most sought after free agent in all of football this off season and is known for both rushing and receiving. Ty Montgomery was a WR in Green Bay until they needed a running Back and since then he's been BOTH. Bell sat out last year while Montgomery was part of the Ravens ground and pound offense. Both will have the opportunity to run and catch in the Adam Gase offense and with their versatility the options for Gase are limitless. At this point the Jets still have Running Backs Trenton Cannon and Elijah McGuire as well. Sam Darnold should have all the support he needs from his backfeild mates.
