Jets QB Depth Chart Still in Question

It’s easy to say quarterback Bryce Petty outplayed Christian Hackenberg in Saturday’s preseason loss to Detroit, but let’s point out that Petty played when the Lions had their third team defense on the field. I agree that Hackenberg struggled but he played against the starters not against the backups. Overall Hackenberg has had a better preseason than Petty, and will be number 2 on the depth chart when the regular season begins. But when head coach Todd Bowles announces his week one starter Monday, it will be a total shocker if it’s not Josh McCown.
