Jim Boeheim Announces Retirement Date

Syracuse University announced on Wednesday morning that head coach Jim Boeheim will retire in three years. Boeheim, is 73 years old and holds a record of 858–333 (.720)as the Syracuse basketball coach.

This announcement comes right after a report that said Syracuse Athletic Director Daryl Gross has been fired by the University. This could be seen as a result of the NCAA sanctions brought down on Syracuse.
