It is clear that Jon Jones is a great fighter but his fights are boring. Seven of his last ten fights went were decided by the judges and this last one was possibly wrong. Is it possibly Jones is so good even he's bored?

Jones is so good he's never truly worried about losing the fight. I think his strategy is to drag his opponent into the "Championship Rounds" where they are likely inexperienced and will be worn out. This strategy is solid on two levels first what I just mentioned, normal fights are only three rounds and championship fights are five rounds. I don't care how hard you train, you can see that nothing prepares you for five rounds like FIVE ROUNDS. Second part of this is judges are reluctant to award a new champion via decision unless it's so obvious they have no choice. So while I get what Jones is doing I miss him trying to finish fights.

Is there anyone on the horizon that could force Jones to try and end it early? I say Stipe Miocic is our best bet. Heavy hands and well versed in championship fights there's no guarantee Jones would have an advantage in the later rounds.

SportsBetting.ag lists Corey Anderson as the overwhelming odds-on favorite to take on Bones Jones next. Jan Blackowicz and a rematch with Reyes also have odds better than 5/1.
Brock Lesnar is the longshot on the board at 22/1.
