We all remember Kevin Ware going down to one of the most brutal injuries in recent sports history during last year's NCAA Tournament, when he snapped his leg closing out on a shot in the Cardinals' Elite Eight win over Duke. Well, now, he's back on the court and back to dunking, just six months after the injury occurred.

While none of us have any idea how Ware's abilities on the court will be in live game action, this is still some inspiring stuff. The amount of physical rehabilitation, patience and tolerance for pain Ware must have put up with during this process is unimaginable to me, and that's before you get to the part where he, you know, was able to look at his bones poking through his own skin. I can't imagine that the memory of that image helped the process at all.

Despite not being a major factor for the Cardinals last season, only averaging 4.5 points per game, I can bet that there will be a lot of people cheering more for Kevin Ware than for the stars on the court at Louisville.
