Knicks Stay Hot, Beat Philadelphia 82-79
The New York Knicks are on a hot streak as they have now won five games in a row with Wednesday nights 82-79 road win against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Whatever Mike Woodson is doing, is working. The Knicks look like a totally different team, and are 5-0 under their interim head coach. The latest Knick win comes against first place Philadelphia, 82-79. A big road victory for the Knicks, who can silence some critics now that they have beat a real playoff contender.
Once again, Amare Stoudemire led the way for New York with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Jeremy Lin added 18 points, while Carmelo Anthony had just 10. The Knicks are now just 2 games back of the Boston Celtics, and 3 back of Philadelphia in the division. They are still currently the eight seed in the playoff picture, but if they continue the way they are going, that could quickly change.
