First off, this was so much tougher than I expected it to be. When I watch the New York Knicks play this season I am well aware they need SO MUCH HELP if they want to truly compete in the Eastern Conference not to mention the NBA. The issue is I find myself starting to like pieces of the current roster. I wasn't completely heartbroken when the Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis because I like the potential of adding two max contracts. So here are FOUR variations of my dream Roster for next season.

Since this is my dream let's just assume Kevin Durant wants to be a Knick. So KD is the key piece to all four line ups. I for one don't think that Kyrie Irving and KD can coexist for a full season so I decided to leave Kyrie out of my lineups. I also feel NBA positions are more fluid than ever before so I might play fast and loose with who's a Guard and who's a Forward to make this work.

Lineup 1: If the Knicks get the number 1 pick in the Draft they take Duke's Zion Williamson. The Knicks will now have the ability to add two max deals. For this lineup, they both come from the Golden State Warriors.

PG: Dennis Smith Jr
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Zion Williamson
C: Mitchell Robinson

6th man: Kevin Knox

Lineup 2: With the 2nd pick of the NBA Draft the Knicks select Duke PG R.J. Barrett. Again assuming KD is in who is the other Free Agent they add?

PG: R.J. Barrett
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Kevin Knox
PF: KD
C: Mitchell Robinson

6th man: Quinn Cook(KD likes this guy. Might need him to get KD to sign) or Dennis Smith Jr

Lineup 3: With the 3rd pick of the NBA Draft the Knicks select Duke's Cam Reddish.

PG: Dennis Smith Jr
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Cam Reddish
PF: KD
C: Mitchell Robinson

6th man: Kevin Knox

Lineup 4: With the 4th pick of the NBA Draft the Knicks Select Murray State's JA Morant.

PG: JA Morant
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Kevin Knox
PF: KD
C: Mitchell Robinson

6th man: Quinn Cook(KD likes this guy. Might need him to get KD to sign) or Dennis Smith Jr
