Louisville’s Rick Pitino Insults Digger Phelps [VIDEO]

Rick Pitino had some fun at the expense of ESPN analyst Digger Phelps.  Check out the funny moment right here.

I’m a huge fan of trash talking.  Rick Pitino showcased his trash-talking skills leading up to the NCAA Tournament by talking a little smack about ESPN analyst Digger Phelps.  Pitino said that he hopes Digger picks against Louisville because he knows nothing about college basketball.  Oh, snap!

Digger Phelps responded on SportsCenter by saying that he has a 3-1 career record against Rick Pitino when both coaches faced each other.  I like it; the smack talk is escalating.  What if Digger flips the script by picking Louisville to win later in the tournament and they lose?  It could be viewed as the Curse of Digger.  It could also help escalate this budding beef between Pitino and Digger.  Nice!
