MAAC Scheduled To PLAY BALL This Spring

Spring sports are scheduled to make their return to the Capital Region. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Council of Presidents has approved the schedule for Spring sports. Soccer, volleyball, water polo, baseball, softball, and lacrosse all have competition scheduled to begin this March. Meanwhile, Cross-Country can start in February.

When most people think of MAAC sports they think of Siena who obviously plays the most MAAC games locally but UAlbany Women's Golf is also in the MAAC. It feels awesome to have an official set of start dates for MAAC Spring sports to look forward to. With any luck, the America East and CAA will follow with similar announcements ASAP. This news has me daring to dream of UAlbany Football actually getting to play their Spring schedule!
