McAdoo Commits Head Coaching Sin by Overly Criticizing QB
I am glad Giants head coach Ben McAdoo blamed himself first for his team’s 0-2 start, but the next person he criticized should not have been quarterback Eli Manning. Even if he was right when he said Manning was sloppy after getting a delay of game penalty at the goal line, you don’t publicly criticize your two time Super Bowl MVP quarterback who is headed for the Hall of Fame. The only player he should rip is left tackle Ereck Flowers, because the No. 1 pick of 2015 has been a total bust. He is the player who along with GM Jerry Reece who should take the blame for the 0-2 start, not Eli.
