Michael Vick Signs Monster Contract [NoeBrainer]

The Philadelphia Eagles have reached a 6-year deal with quarterback Michael Vick worth $100 million.  There are plenty of people who will object to the idea of Vick being offered any type of contract whatsoever.

Michael Vick has signed a 6-year, $100 million deal (with $40 million guaranteed) with the Philadelphia Eagles.  Plenty of fans are not objecting to the deal because of Vick's injury issues.  They are objecting to the contract because of Vick's issues off of the football field.

Michael Vick served 19 months in federal prison on a dogfighting conviction.  There are plenty of fans who have been unable to separate Vick the football player from Vick the convicted felon.  News flash, Michael Vick is not the only convicted felon to play in the NFL.  It's time for people to stop acting as if he is.
