While the Clarkson University baseball team didn't win the Liberty League title this year, they did have some very impressive individual performances from Section II standouts, including Shen grad Chris Miller.

The junior outfielder was named to the All-New York region team by D3baseball.com after leading the Liberty League in batting average (.449), slugging percentage (.659) and on-base percentage (.515).

But if that wasn't enough, he also led the league in hits with 62 and was second in extra-base knocks with 20. But he was also second in runs scored (40) and RBIs (40).

Miller is a power-threat at the plate as well, as he belted four home runs. He has a great swing from the left side and I actually tried to get him to go to Oswego upon my graduation.

Looks like my eye for talent is real, people!

If you needed more evidence of that, I also tried to recruit Shen grad Brad Pearson when I worked at Hudson Valley CC. He ended up at Clarkson and won Liberty League Rookie of the Year, hitting .323 with 34 RBI.
