I hope you had a great weekend but mine was awful.  Actually, from a sports perspective, it couldn't have gotten much worse.

First off, my fantasy football team was eliminated from the playoffs last week so I had to watch on Sunday as all my players had great weeks (McFadden, Fred Jackson, etc).  It didn't matter because all those big stats didn't count since my team was done.  Nice.

The Redskins also burst my bubble this weekend.  Their kicker, Graham Gano, missed two short field goals that were nothing more than glorified extra points.  And then to top it all off, Gano didn't even have a chance to make the potentially game-tying extra point.  The holder couldn't grab the football on the PAT attempt!  Feel free.  It's a shame because Donovan McNabb drove the Skins all the way down the field and scored a touchdown on 4th down with less than 10 seconds left.  Nice again.

The Capitals (granted the 5th team on my sports loyalty pecking order) got throttled by the Rangers, 7-0.  It was their 5th straight loss.

And then late yesterday afternoon, the Maryland basketball team lost their ACC opener against Boston College.  The Terps shot 57% from the foul line - this could be their undoing this year in their quest to repeat as ACC Regular Season Champions.  They can't shoot free throws.

Well....at least the Orioles didn't lose.  Don't worry, that will happen far too often come April.
