New Local Show Debuts This Sunday

104.5 The Team will expand their local lineup starting Sunday July 12th with the launch of Sunday Sports Buzz from 8am-10am hosted by Charlie Voelker.

Voelker joins the 104.5 The Team lineup after spending over 23 years at UAlbany, serving as Associate Athletic Director and a member of the broadcast team for Great Danes football, men’s and women's basketball and men’s lacrosse games. Over the past twenty plus years, Voelker has been a staple in the Capital Region sports scene. Voelker was on the call for former men's basketball coach Doc Sauer's 700th win in 1997 with his partner, and the host of Big Board Sports on 104.5 The Team, Rodger Wyland.

The Long Island native and UAlbany graduate's Sunday show will bring a unique perspective on the biggest sports stories in the Capital Region. Each week will feature interesting guests, conversations, and discussions on the week's most popular sports topics.
