ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney has been heckled a bit on the show due to his "Dr. Doom" attitude towards the return of Major League Baseball. That's not to say that Buster's negative outlook as to the start and even more negative outlook the chances they complete the 60 game season plus playoffs is wrong. It's just to say that the always realistic Buster has been the voice of a potential reality many of us don't want to hear. With big-name players like Atlanta Braves Outfielder Nick Markakis decided to opt-out of this season due to the risks of COVID-19 is Buster somehow even LESS confident about this season now?

I have to say this was legit one of my favorite Buster Olney calls. So big thanks to Roland J Downs Service experts. I always love talking to Buster but today even though he still has serious reservations about how (and if) this season will take place he seems slightly more confident they'll at least get started. That's a big win in my book. Enjoy the full Buster Olney interview from July 9th with Levack and Goz on 104.5 The Team below.
