While we in the Capital Region are upset about UAlbany's elimination from the NCAA Lacrosse tournament last week, we have other things to hold our hats on!

Namely, Capital Region fans can get behind the North Carolina team and former Niskayuna star Luke Goldstock.

Goldstock was on the Tewaaraton Award watch list last season and is second on the team in cumulative points this year.

He joined us today to talk about the Tar Heels' second-round matchup with Notre Dame which is Sunday at 12 p.m. in Columbus, Ohio.

We also asked him about how the tough opening-round matchup with Marquette has prepared them for this matchup with the Irish. I also had to ask if he was happy to see hometown UAlbany get as high as No. 4 in the rankings this year and what his reaction was like to Niskayuna winning the NYS title last season.
